“Early complete care” is our motto.
Functioning round the clock, we cater to approximately 150 emergency patients per day. \ We follow the state government TAEI protocol with 6 pillars. We have a well set up ED with ventilators, multiparameter monitors, USG machine (for POCUS), mobile xray, defebrillators for critical patient care. We have dedicated Doctors, Postgraduates, Staff nurses, and Technicians working around the clock.
We are a postgraduate teaching department with a yearly intake of three students. A total of nine PGs are posted round the clock for patient care. An academic curriculum for the PG is followed.
A real-time update of the emergency patients is done in the registry portal maintained by our state Government, which has 13 modules.
We have any emergency OT where life-saving procedures are done.
Tamil Nadu State government’s IKT-NK48 is implemented where any person meeting an unfortunate road traffic accident is fully taken care of for the first 48 hours, where the life-saving procedures are all free of cost for the victim.
We are fully equipped with ventilators, multiparameter monitors, USG machine (for POCUS), mobile x-ray, and defibrillators for critical patient care. We also have a point-of-care laboratory with ABG analysis.
